Courina Yulisa is a former law clerk to the Hon. Elizabeth S. Stong, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of New York and will start as a bankruptcy and restructuring associate for an AMLaw 100 law firm in October 2020. Prior to her clerkship, Courina was a senior program manager at the Center for New York City Neighborhoods, overseeing programs involving affordable homeownership, disaster recovery, and foreclosure defense. Her prior experience also includes practicing consumer and corporate bankruptcy in the boutique firm, Fitzgerald and Associates, P.C. She received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her undergraduate degree from University of California- Berkeley.
